The Many Fuzzy Faces of Funky Finds

There are so many reasons to love the Funky Finds show.

There's just something about it that gives it a completely different vibe from any other show around these parts. That vibe translates into a different kind of joyful happiness, enthusiasm and attitude in the faces of the people who come to shop. It's taken me a few FF shows to pinpoint exactly what the source of that special vibe is, but I think I've finally figured out what makes this show so great, and sooooo different. (stay with me here)  I really think it's the dogs!

Think about it! People are different when they are out and about with their dogs. They are friendlier, more accessible, more relaxed and generally in a better mood. There have even been studies that found that people actually make eye contact and are more likely to verbally greet each other if one or both of them has a dog with them. It's like our canine friends are magnets that bind we hesitant strangers together as instant best friends when we happen to bond over some cute, fuzzy ears and a pair of dark chocolate eyes.

All this adds up to good news for vendors. We love happy, relaxed shoppers...something that the Funky Finds shows always have in abundance. But besides, having doggies around everywhere just makes the whole weekend lots funner-er for me.

So here's a little gallery of some of my new favorite friendly fuzzy faces that I got to meet at this year's Funky Finds Spring Fling. Woof!

Angel the Basset who got a new 13 year old Best Friend during the show.

Rockin' the Pink Bow, Girlfriend!
Can you believe that they make me walk with a stroller??

Oh yeah? Well, we make riding in a stroller look good!

What? I'm a ballerina.

Little Lucky the Chihuahua, hoping for a new family.

New baby Dobie out for a stroll with his Mom.

Momma PLEASE can I have it? Pleasepleasepleaseplease!

Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.

The End

Thanks for the write up & kind words Buffy! We love dogs (and other animals) & think it really does create a fun relaxed atmosphere when shoppers can bring along their beloved pet! Stay funky!
