In keeping with the opening acts theme. I've done a little more research on the books on my list this week and I've reserved one from my local library. The Amazon search also led me to lots of other books where you can read, follow and play out daily or weekly tasks promising to make you feel better, fulfilled and rewarded. Next, I decided I would do a quick search at the library to find out just what they had in the way of feel good, weekly books. Mind you, this search was simply putting in "52 Weeks", so imagine where you can go from here... Here's the short list.
The knitter's year : 52 make-in-a-week projects-- quick gifts and seasonal knits, Debbie Bliss
The green crafter : 52 eco-friendly projects for every week of the year, Richela Fabian Morgan
Mastering sudoku week by week : 52 steps to be becoming a sudoku wizard, Paul Stephens
52 weeks to financial fitness : the week-by-week plan for making your money grow, Marshall Loeb
Life makeovers : 52 practical and inspiring ways to improve your life one week at a time, Cheryl Richardson
Peter Bogdanovich's movie of the week : 52 classic films for one full year, Peter Bogdanovich
So there you have it, I've done part of the work for you. You've got 52 weeks of all sorts of stuff you can do. Just pick one and get started.
