DIY Ombre

Ombre - A French word meaning "to shade" and is often used to describe a dip-dye effect given to fabric where color graduates from light to dark.

Have you found Sweet Paul magazine yet? If not, you are missing something special. Sadly, I miss the days of holding a hefty shelter magazine full of design and inspiration, but there are many new ones popping up online. This one is el primo!

The Fall issue includes some DIY ways to achieve the ombre effect that's all over everything from your head to your toes and everything in between, on all different mediums. I'm itching to try some.

For the most part, you probably already have the medium you need, so all you need is fabric dye and container from which to dip. There are all sorts of inspirations out there on Pinterest, in magazines and heck, in my own head. Who knew going natural would be so hip.

Let us know if you've tried your hand at dip-dying for the ombre effect.
