Dallas Arboretum

If you live in the DFW Metroplex, or ever have the chance to visit the area you should visit the Dallas Arboretum.  We had the pleasure of spending the day there yesterday.

Right now they have the Dale Chihuly exhibit.   Beautiful glass sculptures are in various spots all around the park highlighting the natural beauty of the flora.

Here are a few photos of my favorites!

I love the colors in these flowers!

The blues were so striking against the various shade of green.

 This sculpture was huge!

This was one of my favorites.  All the different colors together on the water was just beautiful!

I love this little spot.  Perfect for pretending I'm a queen in a courtyard.

These houses covered in pumpkins and gourds are amazing!

We were lucky to have gone at a transitional time of year.  We were able to enjoy the Fall displays, and the Christmas displays inside of the DeGolyer house.

This was one of my favorites!  It was called the Dallas Star

 This one is gorgeous!!

Visit the Dallas Arboretum website to learn more.   I highly recommend a trip there!
