Fresh squeezed lemonade has got to be one of my favorite summer treats. Here's my go-to recipe
2 1/2 cups water
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/4 cups lemon juice
Heat the water and sugar in a pan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 20 minutes.
Add lemon juice.
Pour lemon/sugar mixture into a large pitcher and add equal parts water.
Pour over ice filled glasses and enjoy!
This will make approx 8 8oz servings. I doubled it for a party that I had at my house recently.
I'm also pretty sure that everything tastes better in a mason jar glass!
