CIB: Peek Inside the Bag

Cowtown Indie Bazaar is only a few weeks away, and it's time again to give you a peek at the fabulous handmade items filling the goody bags.  I would like to start off the post by debuting the bag design.

Cowtown Indie Bazaar and Etsy Fort Worth seek to embody and promote the ideals of the "Peace, Love, Local" theme.  Our show and group bring together artists of diverse backgrounds and styles to work together for a common goal.  We support and provide aid to charities and organizations to try and help those in need.  We encourage our community to shop locally at the many indie businesses, farmers' markets and craft fairs in DFW.  The design was created by Ilene Kay, and printed by John at Anchor City Printing.

The Tangled Web created a variety of craft themed patches for the bags. All of the goody bags will have two patches tacked on, which you can leave on your bag or remove and attach to the accessory or item of your choice. Visit them in person at the show, and check out their embroidered, sewn, knit and crocheted accessories.

La Alicia has provided mini matchbook style notepads for the bags. She specializes in creating woven paper accessories and jewelry and uses eco-friendly practices in creating her pieces.

Sima Design made these laser etched wood puzzle boxes for the bags. Each one includes 10 pieces, assembly instructions and a hinge. Sarah creates beautiful customizable pieces for your home and body. You can also meet her in person at the Cowtown Indie Bazaar.

Jennifer M. Ramos Photography provided postcards featuring her colorful photos. These are nice enough to frame, mail or give to a loved one. Visit her online or at the show to see all the prints and postcard images available.

Tacocat Productions sent in heart brooches made from a variety of vintage fabrics. Visit Amanda's online shop to see all the adorable plush Ninjacats and embroidered brooches.

Blessings Candles & Gifts creates hand poured fragrance cubes and candles. Deby sent in full size clam shell packages of fragrance cubes in scents like pumpkin pie, harvest, cucumber melon, love in bloom, coffee & cream and more. You can also visit her in person at Cowtown Indie Bazaar.

Hephaestus Designs sent in these dainty "Forget Me Knot" rings. Melissa will also be at Cowtown Indie Bazaar with her jewelry and accessories.

Cowtown Indie Bazaar goody bags are available to the first 50 visitors to the show on October 15th.  Doors open at 9am, but you may want to get there a bit early because at past shows the line has started as early as 7am.  Come back next Saturday for more sneak peeks.
