insideINFORMATION: Cowtown Indie Bazaar

The Cowtown Indie Bazaar is only a day away.  Are you coming to check out all the artists, crafters, musicians and more?  The show is 9am-5pm in the Round Up Inn at Will Rogers Memorial Center.  There will be free goody bags for the first 50 people through the door, raffles benefiting a great local charity, free make and takes, a photo booth, and artist demos.

Captures by Erin will be running a photo booth where visitors to the show can take fun photos with family and friends.  Erin is a local Fort Worth photographer specializing in portrait photography.  She also just opened a boutique studio over by TCU.

Lone Star Leather Crafters is a guild of artists of all skill levels from around the world who create beautiful works of art as well as functional items from leather.  A group of their members will be selling handmade leather goods at the show, while a few others demonstrate different techniques.

Junanne Peck is a local printmaker and painter.  She is a Texas Originals Artist, and her work can regularly be seen in galleries across DFW.  We are pleased to have Junanne demonstrating monotype printmaking techniques at Cowtown Indie Bazaar.  This demo will provide an introduction on how to use a pin press, produce a printing plate from an original drawing and the printmaking process, tools, and techniques.

Flower Bed Head will be offering free make and takes for everyone visiting the show.  Stop by and visit Danica to learn about ATCs(Artist Trading Cards) and make your own collage ATCs to take home or trade with another visitor at the show.  Danica is a local artist who likes upcycling and trying out all types of materials.  To learn more about her and the make and take please read her Spotlight Moment.

Fort Worth Burrito Project is a group of local volunteers who gather every Sunday to bridge the gap between the hungry and the fed in our community by providing food, drinks and personal care items to the homeless in the area.  Etsy Fort Worth has chosen to raise money and donated items for this local group through our raffle booth at Cowtown Indie Bazaar.  By purchasing raffle tickets for $1 each or per donated item you will also be given the chance to win handmade items generously donated by local artists participating in our show.

Thank you for supporting your local community of artists, crafters, musicians, and organizations!  We hope you will join us this Saturday for family friendly fun, art, music and more.
